At Paradigm Housing Group, we’re committed to delivering high-quality, customer-focused services across our communities. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our friendly Legal team and play a key role in supporting the efficient management of housing related legal matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in civil litigation and housing law to develop their career in a fast paced, purpose driven organisation. You’ll work closely with our in-house legal team, supporting a wide range of cases and helping to ensure our services are delivered with professionalism and integrity.

We operate a hybrid model of working with two days in our modern air conditioned offices (free parking) and 3 days remote. This ensures a balance of colleague interaction and reduced commute.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing your own caseload of civil litigation matters, including access injunctions, disrepair, and housing management cases.
  • Drafting legal documents such as claim forms, pleadings, witness statements, and court bundles.
  • Conducting legal research, liaising with courts, and preparing disclosure materials.
  • Providing administrative support to the Legal team, including file maintenance, invoicing, and correspondence.
  • Supporting internal stakeholders with legal queries and contributing to training and knowledge sharing.
  • Assisting with financial record-keeping and legal spend tracking.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A degree in Law (OR equivalent), with an LPC, BPC, OR CILEX qualification preferred.
  • Experience managing a caseload in a legal environment, ideally within social housing, private practice, or local authority.
  • Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and legal processes.
  • Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in legal databases and Microsoft Office.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Why Join Us?

We offer a supportive and inclusive working environment, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional development. You’ll be part of a team that values your input and is committed to delivering outstanding service to our communities.

Whilst position is offered as a 12 months fixed-term contract, given the scale of our organisation and the ongoing opportunities within Paradigm, there is potential for this role to be extended or made permanent. Many of our team members have successfully transitioned from fixed-term positions to long-term roles within the organisation, building rewarding careers.
