Salary: £37,824 + excellent benefits

Location: Working across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire

Office bases: High Wycombe (Head Office) and Chesham (Stores)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 42.5 per week

About the Role

You’ll carry out internal and external decorating across our housing stock. This includes surface preparation, painting, minor repairs and using access equipment when needed. You’ll work independently across our patch, travelling to different homes and sites. You’ll also work closely with the Planned Works Manager and other property colleagues to make sure each job is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This role is available due to an internal promotion within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing internal and external decorating to a professional finish
  • Preparing walls, ceilings and surfaces before painting
  • Carrying out minor repairs as part of the job
  • Using ladders, towers and other access equipment safely
  • Managing stock and materials in your van
  • Working professionally with residents, colleagues and contractors
  • Keeping accurate records and following health & safety procedures

Qualifications

  • A recognised painting and decorating qualification or at least 5 years’ experience
  • Strong customer focus and good time‑management
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of health & safety
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at height
  • Full, valid manual UK driving licence

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working in housing or property services
  • Experience using towers, scaffolding or other access equipment
