Main responsibilities for the Account Manager:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for members, ensuring they maximise the value of the network.
  • Support member onboarding, engagement, and ongoing participation.
  • Build and maintain strong member relationships to maximise engagement, retention, and long-term value.
  • Collaborate with Board Members to support and implement effective sales processes across the network.
  • Support new business opportunities within the Managed Services sector.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through services, events, or collaborations.
  • Assist in expanding the company’s presence by targeting new markets, members, and industry sectors.
  • Maintain a structured sales pipeline using CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot), ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-ups.
  • Deliver tailored presentations and proposals to prospective clients and members.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support pricing discussions and contractual negotiations, ensuring timely and efficient agreement processes.
  • Aid in the alignment of account management and business development activities with the wider company strategy.
  • Consistently achieve performance targets while maintaining a balanced focus on both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements.
Main Requirements for the Account Manager:
  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a B2B role ideally within IT sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of account/sales processes, sales funnels, and customer relationship management systems.
  • Established history of cultivating strong client relationships and closing deals.
  • Expertise in prospecting and lead generation, with a strategic focus on engaging with business principals and key decision-makers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude in approaching challenging situations.
  • Outgoing and confident personality with a friendly manner.
