Paradigm Employment – Legal Division is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded law firm with an excellent reputation for delivering quality legal services and exceptional client care. Due to continued growth within their Residential Property department, they are looking to appoint an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being an integral part of a busy conveyancing department, working closely with experienced fee earners while helping ensure property transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

The Role

  • You'll provide day-to-day support to Conveyancing Solicitors and Fee Earners, assisting with a varied range of residential property matters, including:
    • Preparing contracts and legal documentation
    • Ordering property searches and Land Registry documentation
    • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties
    • Preparing completion statements and requesting redemption figures
    • Assisting with exchange and completion administration
    • Managing SDLT submissions and Land Registry registrations
    • Supporting post-completion matters and file closure
    • Carrying out AML and compliance checks
    • Helping ensure files progress efficiently while delivering an excellent client experience

About You

  • We're looking for someone who has:
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a Residential Conveyancing department
    • A solid understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to post-completion
    • Experience using case management systems
    • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
    • The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to deadlines
    • A professional, friendly and confident telephone manner
    • A genuine commitment to providing outstanding client service

Knowledge of the King's Lynn or wider West Norfolk property market would be advantageous but is not essential.
