Paradigm Employment Services is recruiting an experienced Project Manager – Interior Fit-Out on behalf of an established specialist fit-out contractor based in Hampshire. The company delivers high-quality interior fit-out, refurbishment and turnkey projects across the UK, working across sectors including retail, hospitality, leisure/wellness and commercial interiors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover, coordinating clients, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure successful delivery.

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective delivery of fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within commercial parameters and to the required quality standards. Projects can range from high-specification interior fit-outs through to more complex refurbishment schemes incorporating enabling works, structural elements, specialist finishes and associated construction packages.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects from mobilisation through to practical completion and handover
  • Planning and monitoring project programmes, key milestones and delivery schedules
  • Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and specialist trades
  • Managing day-to-day relationships with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders
  • Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and agreed quality standards
  • Monitoring progress and proactively resolving programme, logistical and delivery issues
  • Managing site logistics and sequencing of works
  • Coordinating procurement and material requirements with the wider project team
  • Maintaining clear and regular communication regarding project progress
  • Ensuring appropriate health & safety standards and site procedures are maintained
  • Managing snagging, completion and handover
  • Working closely with commercial colleagues to support the successful financial delivery of projects
  • Maintaining appropriate project documentation and reporting

We are particularly interested in speaking with Project Managers who have experience within interior fit-out, shopfitting, refurbishment or specialist construction. You will ideally be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous Project Management experience within interior fit-out or refurbishment
  • Experience delivering projects through construction, fit-out and handover
  • Strong understanding of site-based project delivery
  • Experience managing subcontractors and specialist trades
  • Good knowledge of construction programmes, sequencing and site logistics
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage demanding programmes while maintaining high standards of quality
  • A practical, hands-on approach to project delivery
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites across the UK as required

Experience within retail, hospitality, leisure or commercial fit-out would be particularly relevant.
