We have an exciting opportunity for a planner to join a leading global producer within the FMCG sector. This role provides the chance to work alongside a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and continuous innovation.

Main requirement for the successful Planner:- Successful candidates will cover planning activities and functions.
- Will support the Planning Manager and the business with required project work and customer/product set up to drive improvement and value back into the business.
- Provide cover and support for the Supply Chain Team.
- Plan the daily production lines to meet demand.
- Process customer orders and communicate requirements to all relevant parties e.g. production, despatch, hauliers and co-packers.
- Lead daily planning meeting with production and intake regarding daily requirements.
- Ensure that daily line requirements against demand are communicated and adhered to.
- Monitor capacity and escalate to Planning Manager any capacity issues.
- Ensure that all sales and production information is recorded accurately and necessary administrative tasks are completed in full.
- Support supply chain/other functions within project and product launches.
- Raise/carry out investigation and complete non-conformances within supply chain function.
- Daily data management within the ERP system and planning processes.
- Participation in key performance indicators for the role and development of Companies planning processes to continuously improve team performance and ability to support our operation.
- Always ensure you adhere to company procedures, policies and guidelines.
- Strong Planning Background in fresh produce.
- Excellent Excel Skills and ability to communicate with customers & suppliers.
- Experience and Knowledge of Capacity and Demand modelling and ERP systems.
- Understanding of OEE and throughput.
- Be able to pay close attention to detail and adhere to company procedures.
- Be a decision maker, able to prioritise and work under pressure.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Monday to Friday (04:00 12:00).
- Salary £35,000 + per annum.
