We have an exceptionally rare opportunity for a resilient Commercial Lead to join a leading international organisation with operations across the UK, UAE, China, Europe, and US. Our client specialises in laptops, desktops, servers, and networking equipment, championing the circular economy through innovative and sustainable IT solutions.
We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded leader who combines negotiation expertise with strong supplier management skills, someone ready to take ownership at a senior level, drive global strategy, and gain recognition and reward on an international stage.
As Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of IT hardware worldwide. You will oversee the full purchasing and sales cycle, from sourcing and procurement to sales and lifecycle management, driving profitability, efficiency, and strategic growth.
- Lead the development and expansion of supplier networks in the United States while strengthening and maintaining strategic relationships in the UK, EU, UAE, and China.
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and corporate clients to secure competitive pricing, availability, and quality, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain clear process plans for procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT assets.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a small team to deliver consistent, measurable procurement performance and support professional development.
- Oversee the procurement of enterprise-grade equipment, including servers, RAID systems, SAS drives, switches, and racks.
- Ensure full compliance with WEEE, export, and data-bearing device regulations, upholding the highest standards of sustainability, security, and accountability.
- Drive commercial growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic sourcing initiatives, and contributing to long-term business objectives.
Proven commercial experience in IT hardware, including laptops, desktops, servers, and networking equipment. Strong technical understanding of IT products, configurations, and lifecycle management. Experience in procurement and sales cycles, with a track record of managing large B2B expertise, including vendor negotiations, supplier management, and building corporate client relationships. Leadership experience, with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate a small team to deliver high performance. Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment across multiple regions and contacts in the USA. Customer-focused and commercially aware, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Salary starts £50,000 + depending on experience. Generous performance-based bonus scheme. Monday to Friday Hybrid working, with preference for on-site presence.
