Main responsibilities for the Account Manager:- Act as the primary point of contact for members, ensuring they maximise the value of the network.
- Support member onboarding, engagement, and ongoing participation.
- Build and maintain strong member relationships to maximise engagement, retention, and long-term value.
- Collaborate with Board Members to support and implement effective sales processes across the network.
- Support new business opportunities within the Managed Services sector.
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through services, events, or collaborations.
- Assist in expanding the company's presence by targeting new markets, members, and industry sectors.
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline using CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot), ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-ups.
- Deliver tailored presentations and proposals to prospective clients and members.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Support pricing discussions and contractual negotiations, ensuring timely and efficient agreement processes.
- Aid in the alignment of account management and business development activities with the wider company strategy.
- Consistently achieve performance targets while maintaining a balanced focus on both short- and long-term objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years' previous experience in a B2B role ideally within the IT sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal teams.
- In-depth knowledge of account/sales processes, sales funnels, and customer relationship management systems.
- Established history of cultivating strong client relationships and closing deals.
- Expertise in prospecting and lead generation, with a strategic focus on engaging with business principals and key decision-makers.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude in approaching challenging situations.
- Outgoing and confident personality with a friendly manner.
