Trainee Risk Surveyor

Location: Office-based (GU10 5LZ) & regular travel

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Paradigm Consulting is a specialist firm providing loss adjusting and risk management support within the insurance sector. As we celebrate 20 years in business, we continue to grow while maintaining a strong, value-led company culture.

Following continued growth, we are now looking for a Trainee Risk Surveyor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career or perhaps open to a change of direction, looking to develop their expertise in property assessments and reporting within a supportive and motivated team.

What You’ll Do

1. Conduct both on-site and desktop property assessments to determine reinstatement costs.
2. Travel regularly to property assessments across the South, South East and London.
3. Prepare detailed and accurate reports.
4. Collaborate with our team of surveyors and admin assistants.
5. Work within an exciting growing company that values culture, respect, integrity, teamwork, and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For

1. A keen interest in property, surveying, or insurance.
2. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
3. Willingness to travel regularly and conduct site visits.
4. Excellent attention to detail and report-writing skills.
5. A proactive, team-focused attitude.
6. An energy and enthusiasm to learn.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Experience of using Excel.
