Job Description
The Group Reporting Accountant is responsible for supporting the consolidated financial reporting process across multiple entities within the organization. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. The Group Accountant plays an important role in maintaining financial controls and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes for assigned entities

Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for group reporting

Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Process and record intercompany transactions and balances

Support the external audit process by preparing documentation and responding to queries

Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation

Assist with the preparation of management reports and financial analysis

Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Help implement and maintain financial controls
Qualifications
Essential
-
Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (studying towards CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards

Experience with computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

Understanding of month-end closing processes

Ability to prepare and analyze financial information

Experience with account reconciliations and journal entries
