A New Chapter in Bath Hospitality. Set within the Georgian heart of Bath, Parade Hotel is being lovingly restored to create a destination defined by warmth, connection, and exceptional service. Opening in late summer 2026, Parade Hotel will feature 49 beautifully appointed rooms, a tranquil Courtyard Spa, and a vibrant new restaurant.

As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking a dedicated and dependable Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team and play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel behind the scenes.

The Role:

As a valued part of the housekeeping team, the Room Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the impeccable standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort that will define the Parade Hotel guest experience. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach. You will be responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and public areas to the highest standard, ensuring every space is welcoming, well-presented, and fully prepared for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene.
• Change bed linen, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities in accordance with hotel standards and occupancy requirements.
• Ensure all rooms are fully prepared and inspected prior to guest arrival, maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, lost property, and health and safety concerns promptly and accurately to the Housekeeping Manager and/or Duty Manager.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, storage areas, and cleaning equipment in a clean, organised, and well-stocked condition.
• Follow all cleaning schedules, procedures, and hotel standards to ensure consistent delivery of guest satisfaction.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for additional amenities, linen, towels, or housekeeping services, where appropriate.
• Adhere to all health, safety, hygiene, and COSHH procedures, ensuring safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping colleagues and other hotel departments to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel.
• Uphold Parade Hotel's standards of professionalism, presentation, guest service, and attention to detail always.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeping Assistant, Cleaner, or in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Good physical fitness, with the ability to carry out cleaning duties and remain active throughout shifts is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team.
• A proactive and reliable approach, with pride in delivering excellent guest experiences.
• Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene practices within a hospitality environment is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
