Set in the heart of the historic Georgian city of Bath, Parade Park Hotel is entering an exciting new chapter. As we continue to enhance our guest experience, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Breakfast Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading by example. Breakfast is one of the most important touchpoints of a guest's stay, and as Breakfast Supervisor you will play a vital role in ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome, outstanding service, and the perfect start to their day.

Working closely with the Breakfast Manager, you will support the daily operation of the breakfast service, supervise the team during service, and help maintain the highest standards of hospitality, presentation, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

As Breakfast Supervisor, you will be a key member of the Food & Beverage leadership team, helping to create memorable guest experiences while developing and motivating your colleagues. What You'll Do

  • Deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, friendly, and memorable breakfast experience.
  • Supervise the day-to-day breakfast operation, ensuring smooth, efficient, and professional service throughout each shift.
  • Support the Breakfast Manager in maintaining consistently high food and beverage standards.
  • Lead the breakfast team during service, allocating duties and providing guidance where required.
  • Coach, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Welcome guests, respond to requests promptly, and resolve any concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the breakfast menu, beverages, allergens, and dietary requirements to confidently advise guests.
  • Assist with stock ordering, stock rotation, replenishment, inventory checks, and minimising waste.
  • Ensure buffet displays and service areas remain fully stocked, clean, and presented to the highest standards throughout service.
  • Maintain full compliance with food hygiene, allergen legislation, health & safety requirements, and company procedures.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately where required and complete end-of-shift reconciliation procedures.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, ensuring all preparation and cleaning tasks are completed to company standards.
  • Support the Breakfast Manager with rota planning, daily administration, reporting, and operational tasks.
  • Lead by example, promoting teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and a positive working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen, reception, housekeeping, and wider hotel teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Provide flexible operational support across the wider Food & Beverage department when required.

You'll Ideally Have

  • Previous supervisory experience within a hotel, restaurant, café, or quality hospitality environment.
  • Experience leading or supporting a busy breakfast or Food & Beverage operation.
  • Excellent leadership and team motivation skills.
  • A genuine passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A calm and confident approach when working under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene, allergen legislation, health & safety, and food safety procedures.
  • Experience with stock control and operational administration is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays in line with business requirements.
