Set in the heart of Bath's iconic Georgian city, Parade Hotel Bath is preparing to open its doors in Summer 2026, bringing together timeless elegance, exceptional hospitality, and unforgettable guest experiences. As part of our exciting opening team, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Breakfast Manager to lead one of the most important parts of the guest journey. Breakfast is more than just the first meal of the day; it's the first impression our guests take with them.
As Breakfast Manager, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring every guest starts their day with a memorable dining experience. What You Will Do
- Lead the day-to-day breakfast operation, ensuring smooth, efficient service and an exceptional guest experience.
- Deliver warm, friendly, and professional service, creating memorable experiences for every guest.
- Inspire, coach, and develop the breakfast team to achieve outstanding service standards.
- Ensure all food and beverage offerings are presented to the highest quality and brand standards.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, stock control, ordering, and inventory to support efficient operations.
- Monitor guest feedback, resolve queries professionally, and continuously seek opportunities to improve the breakfast experience.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergen management, health & safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation across all breakfast service and preparation areas.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of new team members.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and departmental performance targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Reception, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and wider Food & Beverage teams to deliver a seamless guest journey.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Provide operational support across the wider Food & Beverage department when required.
About You
You will be an enthusiastic and inspiring hospitality professional with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. You lead by example, enjoy developing people, and remain calm and organised in a busy service environment. You understand that outstanding breakfast service is built on attention to detail, teamwork, consistency, and genuine hospitality.
You will ideally have:
- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within a hotel, restaurant, or quality hospitality environment.
- Previous experience managing breakfast operations or a busy Food & Beverage outlet.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, allergen regulations, and hospitality best practices.
- Outstanding organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and hands-on management style with a passion for continuous improvement.
- The flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays in line with business needs.
