Join the opening team of Parade Hotel Bath and help create one of the city’s most exciting new hospitality destinations. Set within Bath’s Georgian heart, the hotel is being beautifully restored to blend timeless architecture with modern elegance, warm hospitality, and memorable experiences. Opening in late summer 2026, our bar and lounge will operate throughout the day from morning coffee to evening cocktails with a drinks programme built on quality, curiosity, and genuine service.
The Opportunity
This is more than a management role. It is a chance to help shape a destination bar from day one, influence the drink’s identity of the business, and assist in building a team and culture you are proud of. As Bar Supervisor you will assist the Bar Manager in leading the day‑to‑day operation of the hotel bar and lounge, while supporting the upcoming sister restaurant bar and wine offering. You will lead from the floor, set exceptional standards, and create an atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high‑performing bar team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Work alongside the General Manager to create a standout drinks programme across cocktails, wine, coffee and signature serves
- Drive service standards, SOPs, consistency, and presentation across all beverage outlets
- Support Bar Manager with stock control, ordering, margins, labour planning, and budgets
- Deliver excellent commercial performance while protecting quality – supporting the achievement of sales targets through product knowledge and upselling opportunities
- Support the Bar Manager by training, coaching, and retaining talented team members in cocktail, coffee and responsible alcohol service
- Maintain compliance with licensing, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Build a positive, professional culture based on pride, warmth, and accountability
- Handle cash, process transactions accurately, and complete end‑of‑shift reconciliations
- Support the wider hotel operation with a hands‑on leadership approach

Qualifications
You’ll ideally have:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar leadership role within a quality hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of premium cocktails, spirits, and wines

- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A passion for developing people and building successful teams
