We are excited to be recruiting a Registered Homes Manager to lead a 3-bed children's home as part of an organisation undergoing an exciting rebrand and period of growth. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced manager from a Learning Disabilities (LD)/Emotional Behavioural Difficulties background who is a versatile, forward-thinking leader who can adapt and shape the service.
About the role:
- You will take full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home, creating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children aged 8-17.
- You will play a key role in driving standards, embedding a positive culture, and shaping the future direction of the service during an exciting transformation period.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home
- Ensure compliance with regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards
- Create a child-centred, therapeutic, and outcomes-focused environment
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing staff team
- Manage budgets, rotas, and overall service performance
- Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and stakeholders
About you:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in residential childcare
- Experience within LD/EBD settings
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices
- A confident leader with a passion for achieving the best outcomes for children
- Full UK driving licence
