We are excited to be recruiting a Registered Homes Manager to lead a large children's home in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager from a Learning Disabilities background who is a versatile, forward-thinking leader who can adapt and shape the service.

About the role:

  • You will take full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home, creating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children aged 8-17.
  • You’ll play a key role in driving standards, embedding a positive culture, and shaping the future direction of the service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards
  • Create a child-centred, therapeutic, and outcomes-focused environment
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing staff team
  • Manage budgets, rotas, and overall service performance
  • Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and stakeholders
