Location: Mickleover, Derby

Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (Average 40 hours per week)

Shift Pattern: Waking Nights 4 on, 4 off rota, including weekends and bank holidays

Using the therapeutic, trauma-informed ARC model, we help young people navigate daily life, build resilience, and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role

  • Providing high-quality care and support during waking night shifts.
  • Monitoring the wellbeing and safety of children and young people throughout the night.
  • Responding appropriately to any incidents, concerns, or emergencies.
  • Completing accurate records, reports, and handovers.
  • Supporting children who may require reassurance, emotional support, or assistance during the night.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
  • Completing health and safety checks and night-time monitoring tasks.
  • Applying safeguarding knowledge to promote the welfare of all children and young people.
  • Working in line with GDPR, company policies, and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Working a 4 on, 4 off waking night rota.

What We Are Looking For

  • QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working within a children's residential setting essential.
  • A passion for supporting and nurturing young people.
  • Ability to work waking night shifts on a 4 on, 4 off rota.
  • Full UK driving licence desirable.
  • All applicants must be aged 21 or over to meet industry regulations.
