We are hiring Therapeutic support practitioners for our learning disabilities home in Derby.
Salary: Up to £34,060 per annum
Bonus: Rewards and recognition bonus up to £800 - T&Cs apply
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours/week)
Shift Pattern: 2 on 4 off including evenings, weekends, and on average 5 sleeps per month.
Sleep-in Rate: £65 per sleep-in (included in total salary package)
Voluntary Overtime Available.

The role of Therapeutic Support Practitioner involves:
- Providing outstanding care to children while applying their individual care plans
- Taking the children on activities
- Liaising with families and professionals to ensure the best possible care is being provided and carried out
- Taking a proactive approach in supporting the children with attending and engaging in their education
- Making and maintaining accurate records of the child's day, including any incidents that may occur
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties, including cooking, cleaning, and completing health and safety checks
- Applying safeguarding knowledge to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the home
- Complying with GDPR and Health and Safety regulations
There are different shift patterns for Day and Night wake support workers. Day support workers may be required to do sleep-in duties.
What we are looking for from you:
- QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Experience in a children's home setting or working with young people who have learning disabilities and additional needs (essential)
- Supervisory experience (essential)
- Passion to help nurture young people (essential)
- Ability to work shift patterns including sleep-ins (essential)
- Full, UK driving licence (essential)
