We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part Time Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, with a keen eye for detail and a love for creating delicious dishes. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, while delivering high-quality meals to our guests.
This role is for 3, 8hr shifts, working 24 hours per week, which will include working every Saturday & Sunday, with a day in the week.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar culinary environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
