We’re building a premium bar experience focused on quality service, great drinks, high energy, and memorable customer experiences.We’re looking for an experienced, organised, hands-on Bar Manager to lead day-to-day bar operations and help create a welcoming, exciting venue atmosphere.## Start dateWe do not yet have a confirmed opening date for the facility, which means we are unable to provide an exact start date. However, we are aiming for October/November should all building works go to plan. We are keen to build a strong team ahead of opening, so it’s important that any potential candidates are comfortable with a degree of flexibility and are happy to wait until we are ready to launch.## The roleYou’ll be responsible for overseeing the bar service, maintaining high standards across drinks quality and customer experience, managing stock and staffing, and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and can confidently lead a bar team during busy service periods and major sporting events.## Key responsibilities* Lead and manage day-to-day bar operations* Deliver excellent customer service and guest experiences* Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff* Manage stock ordering, rotation, and supplier deliveries* Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the bar* Ensure licensing, health & safety, and compliance standards are met* Monitor GP margins, wastage, and labour costs* Create and support drinks promotions and event nights* Handle customer feedback professionally and efficiently* Open and close the bar when required* Operate the golf simulators and the darts (training will be provided)## Our bar offers* Draught beers & premium lagers* Spirits & cocktails* Wines & prosecco* Match-day drinks promotions* Corporate & private event packages* Social entertainment atmosphere* Live sports & event nights## What we’re looking for* Experience in a busy bar or hospitality environment* Strong leadership and communication skills* Ability to work calmly under pressure* Good understanding of bar operations and customer service* Experience managing stock and staffing* Reliable, organised, and team-oriented* Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and major sporting events## Ideal experience* Sports bar, pub, late-night venue, or hospitality management experience* Bar supervisor or bar manager experience* Experience with stock control and POS systems* Personal Licence holder preferred (not essential)* Experience leading teams in fast-paced service environments* Cocktail experience* Fine wine knowledge (not essential)## What we offer* Competitive pay based on experience* Tips and staff perks* Opportunity to help shape a growing venue* Supportive and energetic working environment* Career progression opportunities as PAR72 grows #J-18808-Ljbffr
