As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils engage with learning and feel supported every step of the way. Working closely with teachers and the wider school team, you’ll support classroom learning, help prepare engaging activities and provide encouragement that helps pupils grow academically, socially and emotionally. This is a truly rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll see first-hand the difference your support makes as pupils gain confidence and achieve things they once thought impossible.
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils in small groups to help them access learning
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Promoting pupils’ emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence

About Us
Papworth Hall School is in the picturesque village in Cambridgeshire. It is within close proximity to Huntingdon and Cambridge. Our new specialist school caters for young people with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs and has the capacity for 30 students. For over 19 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.
