Power Plant Shift Operator Stallingborough, DN41 8BZ * Full time, permanent * 12 hour shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) * £37,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK Paprec Energies operates the NEWLINCS Energy from Waste plant in Stallingborough, generating heat and electrical power from residual waste. The Role You will be part of a shift team responsible for efficient operation of the Energy from Waste plant, undertaking operational tasks in accordance with environmental and safety procedures, including monitoring the fuel supply, boiler, steam turbine, water treatment plant, emissions monitoring plant and auxiliary systems. Key Responsibilities: * Undertaking control room and site operational tasks. * Operating the plant in a safe and efficient manner during normal running, start-up / * shutdown and emergency situations. * Operating control room DCS / SCADA systems. * Carry out plant walk rounds and recording of readings. * Assisting with mechanical maintenance work. * Undertaking housekeeping. * Operation of overhead crane and driving telehandler and FLT. * Monitoring plant control systems and completing log sheets. About you: * Experience working in a power plant, energy-from-waste, manufacturing, or process environment. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively. * A hands-on, can-do attitude with a flexible approach. * Awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards. * Desirable but not essential: FLT, telehandler, or crane operation experience.
