We are seeking a Shift Plant Operator. This is an excellent development opportunity for an existing operations or maintenance person to join our established team as a Shift Plant Operator at the NEWLINCS Energy from Waste Power Station.
About the Role
You will be part of a shift team responsible for efficient operation of the Energy from Waste plant, undertaking operational tasks in accordance with environmental and safety procedures, including monitoring the fuel supply, boiler, steam turbine, water treatment plant, emissions monitoring plant and auxiliary systems. Working alongside other shift operators and shift technicians your duties will include:
- Undertaking control room and site operational tasks.
- Operating the plant in a safe and efficient manner during normal running, start-up / shutdown and emergency situations.
- Operating control room DCS / SCADA systems.
