Papillon Home Care are recruiting dedicated Care Workers to provide vital support to our clients based in Folkestone during the weekend. Are you looking for work around childcare, studies or some extra income? This is the perfect job for you. Whether you want full days, morning or evenings, we want to hear from you. We offer part-time flexible hours.
Our rounds cover the weekend from 7am to 9pm, but are worked in smaller rounds during these times. Due to an occupational requirement of service users expressing an overall preference for females during personal care, we are currently seeking females only to join Papillon Homecare. Working in homecare is an extremely rewarding career where you will make a difference to people's lives and provide support to those who need it most.
As a care worker you will provide care and support to our clients within their own homes. The support you give can include:
- Support with medication.
- Personal care such as showering, dressing and bathing.
- Assistance with home management such as domestic tasks, laundry, bed changing, paying the bills and shopping.
- Food preparation and advice on healthy living.
- Companionship either at home or to visit the theatre, cinema, restaurants, doctors and/or hospital visits.
A driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential. We currently have very limited walker work. Applicants will be required to have an Enhanced DBS before commencing work, this is at the applicant’s own cost.
