Salary: £25k plus on call payments
Location: Primarily based at our office in Lympne, but covering care calls in Folkestone, Hythe, Hawkinge and the Marsh when required. (Applicants must live within these areas)
Job Summary: Papillon Home Care is looking for an organised, confident and caring individual to provide support for the Care Co-ordinators for all aspects of the business. In addition to the office work duties below, there will be an expectation to provide home care support to our service users when required. The successful candidate will be joining a family friendly team and have the ability to adapt and evolve to an ever changing work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support to the care office by:
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Liaising with OT’s, service managers and other relevant people
- Ensuring service user and carer records are kept up to date
- Supporting with any office admin as required
- On call responsibilities – One weekend per month and one evening per week
- Providing support for staff rota management
- Covering the Care Co-ordinator position when required (Once training is complete)
- Covering care calls throughout the business areas
Person Specification:
- Driver with own transport essential
- Home Care experience essential – min 1 year
- Confident to speak with people from various levels
- Able to cover one weekend on call per month and one evening per week. (Weekend on call is paid in addition to salary)
- Able to cover emergency care calls during some weekends and evenings (Paid in addition to salary)
