The Role

We are looking for a Commercial Planning Executive (maps to Assistant Merchandiser) to join Papier’s Commercial Planning team. The team is responsible for managing Papier’s assortment and stock planning across the company’s four sales channels. The team of two reports into the CFO and works closely with other trading, supply chain and finance teams; it is instrumental in helping Papier to maximise sales and profitability through careful planning, trading and stock management.

This is a role in an agile, fast-growing business and offers an opportunity for development through a high ownership and responsibility from day-one. We’re looking for someone who has a good grounding in the principles and techniques involved in merchandising and is looking for an opportunity to develop quickly in a dynamic environment.

  • A solid grounding in merchandising
  • You bring at least 2 years of merchandising experience in retail or consumer goods.
  • You understand the key principles of merchandising and know how to apply them in real-world scenarios.
  • You’re comfortable building, analyzing, and interpreting sales and stock reports to guide decisions.

Highly analytical and detail-oriented

  • Numbers excite you—you genuinely enjoy digging into data and spotting patterns.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail and default to data when making decisions.

  • You’re proficient in advanced Excel, with Netsuite and Looker experience considered a plus.
