Join to apply for the Finance Analyst - Treasury & Accounting role at Papa Johns. This role reports to the Finance Manager – Accounting and involves ownership of Banking and Treasury functions, along with supporting financial reporting tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing bank transactions with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
  • Preparing and overseeing bank reconciliations.
  • Handling franchise loan accounting and reconciliations.
  • Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting (e.g., Corporation Tax, VAT).
  • Collaborating with US-based teams on accounting standards and policies.
  • Liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Working on intercompany processes within the global finance function.
  • Assisting with VAT tasks.
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Contributing to process improvements and SOX controls.
  • Analyzing financial performance and variances with the FP&A team.
  • Leading system-related projects for the UK ERP system (NetSuite).

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience with management reporting and month-end close.
  • Knowledge of Netsuite or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience with treasury systems like Margill.
  • Reporting under UK and US GAAP (preferred).
  • Experience in international/public company environments.
  • Motivated, independent, with process improvement experience.
  • QSR or franchisee experience (preferred).
  • Advanced MS Office and system skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
