Panthera Partners is working exclusively with the energy portfolio company of an international private equity fund to hire a Financial Modelling Associate for their London team. The platform develops, invests in, and manages complex energy projects across international markets, with a focus on conventional power, renewables, and energy transition assets.
This role can be fully remote or in the London office.
The Associate will play a key role in evaluating existing energy assets, building, and auditing financial models, providing recommendations and reports for senior management and investee company, and supporting project-level initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional with strong technical skills to join an experienced team to actively manage an acquire high-value energy assets.
Our client offers the opportunity to work across both operational and development-stage assets, within a lean and collaborative team environment.
Interested candidates must:
- Possess strong financial modelling and Excel skills, with the ability to build, develop, and audit complex models from scratch
- Have experience conducting valuations using DCF, precedent transactions, and trading comparables
- Be comfortable reviewing and interpreting commercial agreements, such as PPAs, EPCs, shareholder and financing documentation
- Sit in an Analyst or Associate role within financial advisory, corporate finance, audit, investment banking, infrastructure funds, valuation firms, or an IPP in the power or energy sector
- Have demonstrable experience or interest in the power or energy sector
