Consultant - Specialist Principal Investigators
Panthera Biopartners conduct late phase clinical trials on behalf of pharmaceutical and biotech companies in 7 Dedicated Clinical Research Sites in the UK; Preston, Rochdale, Glasgow, Enfield, York, Sheffield and Keele.

- Rheumatology / Alzheimer’s / Respiratory / Neurology / Dermatology / Gastroenterology
We are in search of Consultants who would like to act as Principal Investigator for our trials in a flexible manner (combination of remote and on-site).
- Starting from £125 per hour
- Flexible contract to work around current NHS job plan
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as Principal Investigator for respective studies.
- Provide medical oversight on clinical trial conduct at allocated site.
- Performs PI oversight on a regular basis and available for meetings with key stakeholders.
- Oversees staff training for the study and makes sure they are delegated on logs.
- Holds regular meetings with the CRA and acts on any feedback given regarding site performance.
- Participates in any internal or external audits and regulatory inspection.
- Refer participants for respective clinical trials where appropriate.
- Provide support to in-house sub-investigators on clinical matters when required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Registered as a Specialist on GMC Register (Essential)
- GCP trained (Desirable)
- Previous Clinical trial experience as a Sub Investigator or Principal investigator. (Desirable)
