Are you looking to take the next step in your career within a dynamic and fast-paced financial environment? Pantheon is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to support our global debt and FX requirements, ensuring optimal management of financial exposures while delivering value to our clients.
About the Role: As a key member of the Capital Markets team, you will play an integral role in managing Pantheon’s global debt facilities and FX exposures. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, execution and management of debt facilities, managing foreign exchange and interest rate hedging, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will also contribute to internal reporting and process improvements while working closely with Investment, Risk, Treasury and other internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the structuring and implementation of subscription, hybrid, and NAV debt facilities.
- Calculate FX hedge ratios and recommend FX forward trades in line with the firm's hedging policies.
- Portfolio management of existing debt exposures, including oversight of borrowing bases.
- Work closely with Treasury to handle daily facility management and resolve lender-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with debt and FX legal documentation in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support legal negotiations and KYC processes for debt and FX transactions.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and track debt, FX, and legal costs, ensuring timely payment of associated fees.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Understanding of fund finance.
- Knowledge of debt and FX hedge products and strategies.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in planning and delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with a global client base.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; VBA knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and oversee team deliverables.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
