Purpose of Role: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join Pantheonâs Change team on a permanent basis, working on strategic client experience programs. The Business Analyst will engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and support project delivery across multiple areas including strategy, business change, systems development and implementation. The successful candidate will be an expert in eliciting, validating and tracking business and system requirements from initiation through to successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a clear understanding of new projects, including eliciting objectives, scope and success criteria.
- Gather and document business and system requirements, collaborating with technology and business team partners to drive consensus.
- Define and document endâtoâend business process maps, data flow models, use cases and entityârelationship diagrams and other relevant project artefacts.
- Work with business and technology colleagues to verify and validate requirements against solution delivery at each step of the lifecycle.
- Proactively establish working relationships with key stakeholders and subjectâmatter experts.
- Support the successful adoption of business and IT change within the business community by maintaining engagement with the user base, enabling training and support as required.
- Consistently own and drive through project issues to ensure a successful resolution with the respective teams in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Substantial experience of 5+ years in the financial services sector, with a strong track record of delivering projects â ideally within Private Markets or Fund Management.
- Knowledge of the investment and investor relations lifecycles and related systems and processes (CRM, Marketing, Due Diligence, Closing/Onboarding, Data Management, Reporting etc).
- Ability to elicit and document detailed business requirements including provision of rationale and relevant context.
- Ability to elicit and document endâtoâend business process flows at all levels using BPMN and appropriate tools (e.g. MS Visio).
- Experience of Waterfall and Agile Scrum project life cycles within a structured environment.
- Experience with backlog management in Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Exposure to working with external thirdâparty vendors and partners.
- Experience running workshops with both business and technical stakeholders to elicit business processes and requirements, review analysis and validate documented project artefacts.
- Ability to develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies, build strong rapport, constructively challenge stakeholder assumptions and mediate between conflicting requirements, ensuring consensus.
- Ability to communicate complex solutions to technical and nonâtechnical stakeholders clearly and succinctly.
- Ability to communicate rationale behind business processes and bring business teams/stakeholders and senior partners into alignment.
- Project management, Scrum Master or teamâmanagement skills.
The following is desirable but not essential:
- Business Analysis qualification and certifications (e.g. BCS Business Analysis).
- Inâdepth knowledge of Private Markets including Private Equity and Private Credit and related business processes.
- Knowledge of Private Market technology landscape.
- Experience working on system delivery of systems related to Private Markets investor relations lifecycles.
