A Multi-Academy Trust in the midlands is seeking an Interim HR Officer to support schools across the Trust on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This is a hands‐on, business-as-usual generalist role providing day-to-day HR and employee relations support.
Contract Details
- Contract: c. 7 months, start ASAP
- Working pattern: 3 days per week (flexible on days)
- Hybrid: 2 days on-site and 1 day working from home
- Additional flexibility: fully remote working available during school holidays
- Status: inside IR35
- Rate: competitive day rate (dependent on experience)
- Reporting to: COO / Head of HR

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a range of HR/ER casework including absence management, hearings, and drafting letters/documentation
- Support voluntary redundancy processes where required
- Review and update HR policies ahead of the new academic year
- Provide end-to-end recruitment support
- Advise and support Headteachers and senior leaders across the Trust
