We are seeking an experienced Interim Support Manager to provide immediate leadership and operational oversight for a service supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on interim professional who can quickly embed themselves within a service, provide stability, support the team, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult social care, with experience managing supported living, residential, or complex care services for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or additional behavioural or mental health needs. You will be confident overseeing day-to-day service delivery, supporting staff performance, maintaining compliance, and driving standards in line with regulatory and organisational expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership across the service
  • Support and develop the staff team to ensure safe, effective, person-centred care
  • Oversee compliance, quality, and safeguarding standards
  • Work closely with senior leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans
  • Ensure care and support is tailored to meet the needs of adults with learning disabilities and additional needs
  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external stakeholders
  • Maintain a visible presence within the service and provide practical leadership where needed
About You
  • Proven experience in an Interim Support Manager, Registered Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Strong background supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional needs
  • Good understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and quality standards within adult social care
  • Able to start quickly and make an immediate impact
  • Calm, resilient, and confident leading teams through periods of change or challenge
