Are you an experienced fire safety professional with a passion for protecting residents and ensuring the highest standards of building safety?
We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Surveyor to join our Asset Investment & Sustainability team and play a critical role in ensuring our homes remain safe, compliant, and fit for the future.
Reporting to the Fire and Building Safety Manager, you will provide technical expertise and assurance across a diverse housing portfolio, reviewing Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), validating remedial works, and ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and associated fire safety legislation. This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference to residents by helping deliver homes and communities where people feel happy and secure.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Fire Safety Surveyor, you will:
Review and quality assure Fire Risk Assessments, ensuring compliance with the organisation's Fire Safety Management Plan.
Challenge and validate FRA findings and recommendations to ensure actions are accurate, proportionate, and practical.
Audit and validate fire safety actions, ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance monitoring.
