We are delighted to have partnered with an education provider to recruit for an Interim HR Manager. As their Interim HRM, you will take responsibility for leading the HR Business Services Team and ensuring there is strong and consistent HR support. They require someone to operate both strategically and hands-on, coming in and quickly taking ownership of the HR function.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Leading, supporting and developing the HR team, including 3 HR Officers and an HR Coordinator with an L&D focus
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers
- Managing complex employee relations matters, including attendance, conduct, capability and performance
- Reviewing and developing HR policies, procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice
- Supporting organisational change and wider people-related projects
- Using HR data and insight to support decision-making
- Ensuring robust end-to-end people processes are embedded across the Trust
- Building strong relationships across the schools and central team and developing a collaborative, customer-focused HR service
Experience Required:
For this interim appointment, a CIPD Level 5 is essential and education experience is strongly desired. Candidates from a Public Sector background will be considered. You will need strong generalist HR knowledge across employee relations, recruitment, performance management, reward and organisational change, together with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and confidently lead a small team.
