We are seeking an experienced Interim Support Manager to provide immediate leadership and operational oversight for a service supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on interim professional who can quickly embed themselves within a service, provide stability, support the team, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult social care, with experience managing supported living, residential, or complex care services for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or additional behavioural or mental health needs. You will be confident overseeing day-to-day service delivery, supporting staff performance, maintaining compliance, and driving standards in line with regulatory and organisational expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day operational leadership across the service
- Support and develop the staff team to ensure safe, effective, person-centred care
- Oversee compliance, quality, and safeguarding standards
- Work closely with senior leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans
- Ensure care and support is tailored to meet the needs of adults with learning disabilities and additional needs
- Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external stakeholders
- Maintain a visible presence within the service and provide practical leadership where needed
- Proven experience in an Interim Support Manager, Registered Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong background supporting adults with learning disabilities and additional needs
- Good understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and quality standards within adult social care
- Able to start quickly and make an immediate impact
- Calm, resilient, and confident leading teams through periods of change or challenge
- Contract Length: 3 months
- Rate: Competitive day rate
