Panoramic Associates is pleased to be supporting an ambitious education provider in Sheffield to recruit an Interim School Finance Officer. They are looking for an experienced school finance professional to join them at the end of September until Easter 2027. This is a 5 day per week, onsite opportunity with hours of 8am-4pm offering a competitive daily rate.
As the Interim Finance Officer, you will support the existing finance team and work closely with their Headteachers to ensure the finance function operates most effectively. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Daily accounting and bookkeeping
- Processing invoices, bills, payments
- Reconciliations
- Supporting with budgets and forecasting
- Preparation of statements
- Update finance systems (IMP)
To be considered for this role, you must have worked as a Finance Officer in a School or Multi-Academy Trust setting. You must also be able to start in September until Easter 2027.
