Job Opportunity: Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) Manager

Contract: 6 Months

Location: London (Local Authority)

Rate: Up to £360 per day

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week (non-negotiable)

Panoramic Associates is working with a London-based local authority with their search for a PfA Manager to lead a small team of SEND Case Officers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support a team of 3 SEN Officers.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex cases
  • Oversee the cessation of EHCPs in line with statutory guidance
  • Manage complex cases when required
  • Support with leading on Preparing for Adulthood strategies, ensuring smooth transitions for post-16 learners

Essential Experience:

  • Demonstrated team management experience within a Local Authority SEND service
  • Strong understanding of post-16 SEND pathways
  • In-depth knowledge of EHCP processes, particularly around ceasing plans and transition planning
