Panoramic Associates are supporting our Local Authority client in the Midlands with the recruitment of a Substantive Consultant in Public Health.
Salary: Up to approximately £105k per annum
Onsite: 2 days per week, ideally Wednesdays and Thursdays but is flexibility
Working Pattern: Ideally full-time, could consider 4 days per week
Portfolio: Predominantly Healthcare Public Health and Neighbourhood health initially but flexible around interests
Interviews: Mid February
Role: Current postholder looks after healthcare public health and neighbourhood health so managing these areas initially. Integrated care partnership work. You will have an opportunity to work across the breadth of Public Health functions, supporting the DPH, including deputising where required, and providing public health advice to stakeholders. Provide expert public health support and whole system leadership to ensure an evidence-based approach for commissioning and developing high quality equitable services, within and across a range of organisations. Take responsibility for a range of public health issues and work across organisational and professional boundaries acting as a change agent managing complexity to deliver improvements in health and wellbeing.
Requirements:
- You don't need to have experience in a particular portfolio area of public health
- Collaborative, proactive and adaptable
- Comfortable with changing environments
- Inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register/GDC Specialist List/UK Public Health Register (UKPHR) for Public Health Specialists (with a license to practice) or within 6 months of CCT at the date of interview.
