We are supporting an education provider based in West Yorkshire to appoint an experienced Interim School Finance Manager for an immediate start. This is a critical role providing stability and leadership within a busy finance function during a period of senior staff absence. This is a 3 month, interim assignment. They are offering a hybrid working arrangement, making this a brilliant opportunity for anyone looking for flexibility.
About the Role
They require a confident and capable finance professional who can step in and take ownership quickly. You will provide oversight of finance operations, support monthly reporting, and ensure smooth running of processes. You will work closely with the CFO while providing day-to-day leadership to the Finance Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee finance, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.
- Lead on monthly management accounts and financial reviews.
- Provide oversight of school-level budgets.
- Line manage and support the Finance Assistant.
- Liaise with outsourced providers for payroll and invoice payments.
- Ensure effective use of Access Finance system.
