Estates Surveyor - MRICS / AssocRICS - 3-6 Months - £500-£550 per day. South London | Hybrid Working 3 days in the office.

Looking for a role where you can genuinely get stuck into a varied estates workload rather than being pigeonholed into one area? We're working with a South London Local Authority looking to bring in an experienced Estates Surveyor to support a diverse property portfolio. From acquisitions and disposals through to valuations, rent reviews and landlord & tenant matters, you'll be involved in work that has a direct impact on the performance and future direction of the Council's estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on acquisitions and disposals of land and property assets
  • Undertake lease renewals, rent reviews and general landlord & tenant matters
  • Provide valuation advice across a varied commercial portfolio
  • Negotiate easements, wayleaves, licences and other property agreements
  • Support strategic asset management and estate optimisation projects
  • Advise on development opportunities and property-related initiatives
  • Work closely with tenants, developers, legal teams and senior stakeholders

About You

  • Strong experience across acquisitions, disposals and estates management
  • Proven background undertaking valuations, lease negotiations and rent reviews
  • Knowledge of compulsory purchase, compensation and asset valuation work
  • Previous Local Authority or Public Sector experience
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
