Panoramic Associates is partnered with a secondary school in the North of England, who are seeking an experienced Interim Deputy Headteacher to join its senior leadership team from September 2026 until April 2027. The role will have a particular focus on curriculum planning, quality assurance and school improvement, working closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team to ensure high standards of teaching, learning and curriculum delivery.
Focus areas:
- Lead and develop curriculum planning and implementation across the school.
- Model best practice, carry out lesson observations and assessments.
- Contribute to wider senior leadership, day-to-day operations and school improvement.
- Undertake some teaching when required, according to the needs of the school.
We are looking for a secondary leader with experience at Assistant/Deputy or Headteacher level, with a strong track record in curriculum leadership, quality assurance and improving teaching and learning.
