We are seeking an experienced Interim SENCo to provide SEND leadership across two nursery settings located within a short walk of each other, in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for an established SENCo to make an immediate impact, supporting children aged 2–5 with a wide range of additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SEND provision across both nursery settings.
  • Manage EHCPs, annual reviews and statutory SEND processes.
  • Build strong relationships with families through home visits and ongoing support.
  • Work closely with external professionals including Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Local Authority teams.
  • Support staff with SEND strategies, interventions and inclusive practice.
  • Monitor provision, maintain accurate SEND records and oversee transition arrangements to primary school.
  • Deliver regular SEND briefings and identify staff development needs.

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in a similar setting and have a deep understanding of SEND processes. NASENCo qualification is desirable but not essential. This is a non-teaching role, allowing the successful candidate to focus on SEND leadership, staff support and ensuring outstanding provision for children with additional needs.

Interviews will take place ASAP, with a view to start in September. Paid on a day rate for the duration of the contract.
