We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Metering and Billing Manager to join a forward-thinking London Local Authority on a 6-month contract. This pivotal role is focused on delivering a practical and legally compliant billing solution for heating in response to forthcoming changes in heat network regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a robust billing framework for heat networks, ensuring full compliance with emerging regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on leasehold service charges, including the influence of lease terms and legislation on applicable recharges.
  • Rapidly assimilate the regulatory landscape, assessing implications for both tenants and leaseholders.
  • Engage in co-design sessions with residents, legal teams, finance departments, and other stakeholders to collaboratively shape billing options.
