About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Operations Manager to join a school setting in Wiltshire on an interim basis. This is a hands-on role where you\’ll lead and oversee HR operations, ensuring smooth processes and compliance while fostering a supportive environment for all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, contracts, and employee records.

  • Developing and implementing plan for a new HR system.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and school policies.

  • Provide operational support for recruitment and onboarding processes.

  • Assist with employee relations cases, such as disciplinary and grievance matters.

  • Collaborate with school leadership to improve HR systems and practices.

  • Deliver high-quality support to staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

About You:

  • Proven experience in HR operations management, ideally within an education setting.

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work on-site for 5 days per week and begin immediately.

  • Comfortable managing sensitive HR matters with discretion and tact.
