We are supporting a provider of Special Education to recruit for an interim Finance Manager. They are looking for someone to join them immediately for 3 months, paid on a daily rate. They are open to hybrid working models.
As Finance Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop the central finance team.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior leaders.
- Manage trust-wide budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Produce consolidated management accounts and financial returns.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and statutory requirements.
- Support payroll, cash flow, procurement and audit processes.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and internal controls.
- Work closely with school leaders and budget holders to support effective financial planning.
About You:
We're looking for someone who has:
- A recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW or equivalent).
- Multi-Academy Trust experience.
- Experience managing complex budgets and leading finance teams.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- A collaborative leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement.
