Panoramic Associates is delighted to be partnering with Hedyn to recruit a Head of Property Services – a pivotal leadership role within their Property & Place Directorate.
Hedyn are a values-led housing organisation with a clear vision: to provide safe, well-maintained homes and deliver services that make a real difference to its residents and communities. This role is central to achieving that ambition.
As Head of Property Services, you\’ll provide strategic leadership across Hedyn\’s largest operational area – overseeing reactive maintenance, empty homes, cyclical safety inspections and major works delivery. You\’ll lead a highly skilled internal team and manage key contractor relationships, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading an efficient, proactive maintenance service across Hedyn\’s homes and estates.
- Delivering a forward-looking Property Services Business Plan aligned to corporate goals and resident priorities.
- Ensuring compliance, safety and strong performance management across all maintenance functions.
- Driving value for money and continuous improvement through innovation, resident engagement, and data-led insight.
- Inspiring, developing, and empowering a multi-disciplinary team of trades and surveyors.
About you:
You\’ll be an experienced property leader with a strong background in housing maintenance, asset management or building services, capable of driving performance while fostering collaboration and accountability.
You\’ll bring:
- A track record of delivering large-scale maintenance and improvement programmes.
- Proven success in leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial and compliance awareness within a social housing context.
- Professional qualifications (e.g. CIOB or equivalent) and degree-level education in a relevant field.
