Panoramic Associates are supporting a respected charitable organisation in the West Midlands to recruit a Head of Housing.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering the chance to lead a small but dedicated team in delivering high-quality housing and support services for older people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Housing Team, driving performance and high standards.
  • Oversee all aspects of tenancy and property management across supported and independent schemes.
  • Develop and implement the Housing Strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and service excellence.
  • Act as lead on managing agent services for partner charities and Almshouses.
  • Administer charitable grants, ensuring accurate and fair distribution.
  • Take responsibility for rent and service charge setting, budget control, and financial oversight.
  • Act as operational Health and Safety Lead for Housing Services.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in social housing, ideally with an RSL or Almshouse provider.
  • Proven knowledge of housing law, tenancy management, rent setting, and ASB resolution.
  • Strong leadership experience, including appraisals, development, and team support.
  • Experience working with older people and a sound understanding of their housing and support needs.
  • Familiarity with social housing regulation and completing compliance audits/self-assessments.
  • CIH Level 5 or willingness to work towards this.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
