Formed in April 2006 as an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO), we work in partnership with Sutton Council and its residents, managing over 6,000 council properties and over 1,470 leasehold properties in Sutton.

Sutton Housing Partnership is looking for a Head of Major Works Delivery to take ownership of a significant capital investment programme across its housing stock. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for driving performance, quality and value across major works projects typically ranging from £1m–£5m.

This is a role where you'll need to balance commercial awareness with social purpose, managing contractors, controlling budgets and improving services, while keeping residents at the centre of delivery.
- Overseeing delivery of capital programmes (£1m–£5m), ensuring works are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality
- Managing contractors and supply chain partners, ensuring strong commercial control and contract compliance
- Ensuring full compliance with asset management, building safety and CDM regulations
- Owning budget planning, forecasting and financial performance across programmes
- Leading service improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, performance and value for money
- Working closely with senior leadership and internal teams to align delivery with wider organisational objectives
