Panoramic Associates is supporting a School in South West England, who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate leader to oversee a well-established SEN Resource Base within a large secondary academy in the South West. The specialist provision supports Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with a range of SEN needs. All students within the provision have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), with placements agreed in partnership with the Local Authority. The provision offers a highly inclusive approach, enabling students to access both specialist teaching and mainstream education where appropriate.
The successful candidate will lead a dedicated and skilled team of specialist teachers, HLTAs and teaching assistants, ensuring students receive outstanding pastoral support, high-quality teaching and personalised provision that enables them to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The school are seeking a leader who:
- Has substantial experience working with students with SEND
- Demonstrates strong leadership and organisational skills
- Is passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for young people
- Can effectively lead and develop specialist staff teams
- Has experience of EHCP processes and multi-agency collaboration
- Can build positive relationships with families, external professionals and mainstream colleagues
